जघान च समासाद्य देवी नानाविधायुधैः । ततः प्रेतपिशाचाद्या हन्यमाना महारणे

jaghāna ca samāsādya devī nānāvidhāyudhaiḥ | tataḥ pretapiśācādyā hanyamānā mahāraṇe

Menghampiri, Dewi itu menumpaskan mereka dengan pelbagai jenis senjata. Kemudian, dalam pertempuran hebat itu, Pretas, Pishachas, dan lain-lain telah dibunuh.
