Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 41
भूय आरोपयेत्तं तु नरं तस्मिन्सपत्रकम् । तुलितो यदि वर्धेत शुद्धो भवति धर्मतः
bhūya āropayettaṃ tu naraṃ tasminsapatrakam | tulito yadi vardheta śuddho bhavati dharmataḥ
Kemudian hendaklah lelaki itu diletakkan sekali lagi di atasnya, bersama helaian daun itu. Jika ketika ditimbang beratnya bertambah, maka menurut dharma dia dianggap suci (tidak bersalah).
