ईर्ष्यया सुमहद्दुःखं मोहाद्रक्तस्य जायते । मत्तस्य कुपितस्यैव रागो दोषाय केवलम्

īrṣyayā sumahadduḥkhaṃ mohādraktasya jāyate | mattasya kupitasyaiva rāgo doṣāya kevalam

Daripada iri hati timbul penderitaan yang amat besar bagi orang yang fikirannya diwarnai oleh delusi. Bagi yang mabuk dan yang marah, nafsu menjadi semata-mata cela, tiada lain.
