तस्यार्धमायुषो रात्रिर्हरते मृत्युरूपिणी । बालभावेन मोहेन वार्धके जरया तथा
tasyārdhamāyuṣo rātrirharate mṛtyurūpiṇī | bālabhāvena mohena vārdhake jarayā tathā
Daripada umur itu, separuh dirampas oleh malam—maut dalam rupa demikian. Dan yang tinggal pun banyak hilang: pada masa kanak-kanak kerana kebodohan dan kelalaian, serta pada masa tua kerana pereputan usia.
