षंडगानीति चोक्तानि द्वौ च पाकावतः श्रृणु । द्वौ पाकौ दानजौ प्राहुः परत्राथ त्विहोच्यते
ṣaṃḍagānīti coktāni dvau ca pākāvataḥ śrṛṇu | dvau pākau dānajau prāhuḥ paratrātha tvihocyate
Demikianlah “enam anggota” telah dinyatakan; kini dengarlah tentang “dua pematangan” (hasil). Para resi menyatakan bahawa dana (sedekah suci) melahirkan dua pematangan—satu di alam sana, dan satu lagi di dunia ini sendiri.
