तस्य नाम ददौ स्कंदः सिद्धकूप इति स्मृतः । कृष्माष्टम्यां चतुर्दश्यामुपवासी नरः स्वयम्
tasya nāma dadau skaṃdaḥ siddhakūpa iti smṛtaḥ | kṛṣmāṣṭamyāṃ caturdaśyāmupavāsī naraḥ svayam
Skanda mengurniakan nama kepadanya; ia dikenang sebagai “Siddhakūpa” (Perigi Pencapaian). Pada Kṛṣṇāṣṭamī dan pada hari keempat belas bulan, seseorang hendaklah berpuasa sendiri.
