अपतन्भूतले पार्थ च्छिन्नाभ्राणीव सर्वशः । ततस्तद्दानवं सैन्यं हतनाथमभूत्तदा
apatanbhūtale pārtha cchinnābhrāṇīva sarvaśaḥ | tatastaddānavaṃ sainyaṃ hatanāthamabhūttadā
Mereka rebah ke bumi, wahai Pārtha, di segala penjuru—bagaikan awan yang terkoyak. Maka pada saat itu bala Dānava menjadi tanpa pemimpin, kerana panglimanya telah terbunuh.
