Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 25
अवध्यस्तारको दैत्यः सर्वैरपि सुरासुरैः । यस्य वध्यश्च नाद्यापि स जातो भगवान्पुनः
avadhyastārako daityaḥ sarvairapi surāsuraiḥ | yasya vadhyaśca nādyāpi sa jāto bhagavānpunaḥ
Tāraka si daitya itu kebal, tidak dapat dibunuh oleh sesiapa pun—baik dewa mahupun asura. Namun kini Tuhan telah lahir kembali—Dia yang ditakdirkan menjadi pembunuh Tāraka, walaupun pembunuhan itu belum terjadi hingga hari ini.
