sa tamudgrāhya vegena dānavāya mumoca vai | dānavendrastamaprāptaṃ viyatyeva śataiḥ śaraiḥ
Mengangkatnya, baginda melontarkannya dengan kuat ke arah Dānava. Namun raja Dānava, sebelum ia sempat mencapainya, memanah jatuh di udara dengan beratus-ratus anak panah.
