दुराचारस्य पापस्य निघृणस्यातिवादिनः । दुष्कुलीनस्य जातोऽसौ तदा जातिस्मरः सुतः
durācārasya pāpasya nighṛṇasyātivādinaḥ | duṣkulīnasya jāto'sau tadā jātismaraḥ sutaḥ
Ketika itu, dia lahir sebagai anak kepada seorang yang berkelakuan jahat—berdosa, tidak berperikemanusiaan, dan gemar berkata kasar—dari keturunan hina; namun pada saat itu juga, si anak menjadi seorang yang mengingati kelahiran-kelahiran lampau.
