ततोऽहं ब्राह्मणगृहे जातो जातिस्मरः सुतः । स्नापनाच्छिवलिंगस्य सकृत्कमलपूजनात्
tato'haṃ brāhmaṇagṛhe jāto jātismaraḥ sutaḥ | snāpanācchivaliṃgasya sakṛtkamalapūjanāt
Sesudah itu aku lahir dalam rumah tangga brāhmaṇa sebagai seorang anak yang mengingati kelahiran-kelahiran lampau—kerana aku pernah sekali memandikan Śiva-liṅga dan memujanya dengan bunga teratai.
