इति विज्ञाय संसारसारं च चलाचलम् । कस्यार्थे क्रियते राजन्कुटजादि परिग्रहः

iti vijñāya saṃsārasāraṃ ca calācalam | kasyārthe kriyate rājankuṭajādi parigrahaḥ

Demikianlah, setelah mengetahui bahawa inti sari kehidupan duniawi ini tidak tetap, sentiasa berubah dan bergoyang, wahai Raja—maka demi siapa pengumpulan dan penimbunan harta, bermula bahkan daripada perkara kecil seperti kuṭaja, dilakukan?
