ज्ञानेन तं समालोच्य वरमीदृग्गुणोदयम् । धन्यां कन्यां बभाषेथ शृणु वत्से शुभैषिणि
jñānena taṃ samālocya varamīdṛgguṇodayam | dhanyāṃ kanyāṃ babhāṣetha śṛṇu vatse śubhaiṣiṇi
Dengan kebijaksanaan, dia menimbang bahawa mempelai lelaki sedemikian ditandai oleh terbitnya sifat-sifat mulia itu; lalu dia berkata kepada gadis yang diberkati: “Dengarlah, wahai anakku, pencari keberkatan.”
