Type: kshetra
Listener: Internal Kāśīkhaṇḍa interlocutor (contextual)
Scene: A procession-like scene: newly admitted pilgrims/attendants cross a sacred threshold into Kāśī; their bodies subtly glow with Shiva’s marks (tripuṇḍra, rudrākṣa), and together they prepare a welcoming aarti as if to ‘bring about Shiva’s coming’.
In Kāśī, divine attendants aligned with the Lord’s nature actively uphold conditions for the Lord’s presence and manifestation.
Kāśī/Vārāṇasī is implied as the place where such ‘entry’ is gained and divine presence is secured.
No explicit rite; the verse highlights devoted endeavor (yatna) to sustain or invite divine presence.
