ब्रह्मोवाच । यदि प्रसन्नो देवेश वरं दास्यसि वांछितम् । तदा त्वं मे भव सुतो देवी दक्षसुताऽस्तु च
brahmovāca | yadi prasanno deveśa varaṃ dāsyasi vāṃchitam | tadā tvaṃ me bhava suto devī dakṣasutā'stu ca
Brahmā berkata: Jika Engkau berkenan, wahai Tuhan para dewa, dan akan mengurniakan anugerah yang kuingini, maka jadilah Engkau puteraku; dan biarlah Sang Dewi menjadi puteri Dakṣa juga.
