इति दत्त्वा वराञ्शंभुस्तल्लिंगे लयमाययौ । स्कंद उवाच । तल्लिंगाराधनात्कामाः प्राप्ता दुर्वाससा भृशम्
iti dattvā varāñśaṃbhustalliṃge layamāyayau | skaṃda uvāca | talliṃgārādhanātkāmāḥ prāptā durvāsasā bhṛśam
Setelah menganugerahkan kurnia-kurnia demikian, Śambhu (Śiva) pun melebur ke dalam liṅga itu sendiri. Skanda berkata: “Dengan pemujaan liṅga itu, Durvāsas memperoleh hajat yang diingininya dengan sangat melimpah.”
