Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 58

एतौ मंत्रौ समुच्चार्य पूज्या गौरीविनायकौ । व्रतक्षमापने देयः पर्यंकस्तूलिकान्वितः

etau maṃtrau samuccārya pūjyā gaurīvināyakau | vratakṣamāpane deyaḥ paryaṃkastūlikānvitaḥ

Sesudah melafazkan kedua-dua mantra ini, hendaklah memuja Dewi Gaurī dan Vināyaka. Bagi upacara memohon keampunan serta menyempurnakan vrata, hendaklah didermakan sebuah katil beralas tilam.
