माहेश्वरीं समासाद्य भवान्याज्ञां प्रहृष्टवत् । अमर्त्यायाऽभयं दत्त्वा समरायोपचक्रमे
māheśvarīṃ samāsādya bhavānyājñāṃ prahṛṣṭavat | amartyāyā'bhayaṃ dattvā samarāyopacakrame
Setelah mendekati Māheśvarī dan menerima titah Bhavānī dengan sukacita, baginda menganugerahkan “abhaya” yakni keberanian tanpa gentar kepada para amerta, lalu memulakan tugas peperangan.
