Transliteration

udayānudayau prājñairdraṣṭavyau puṣpavaṃtayoḥ | sadaikarūpatā'tyājyā harṣāharṣau tato'dhruvau

Translation

Orang bijaksana hendaklah memerhati naik dan turunnya keadaan seperti pada tumbuhan berbunga: ada masa mekar dan ada masa layu. Tinggalkan tuntutan agar semuanya sentiasa sama; maka suka dan duka itu tidak tetap.
