Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 16

विपद्यपि हि ते धन्या न ये दैन्यप्रणोदिताः । धनैर्मलिनचित्तानामालभंतेंगणं क्वचित्

vipadyapi hi te dhanyā na ye dainyapraṇoditāḥ | dhanairmalinacittānāmālabhaṃteṃgaṇaṃ kvacit

Berbahagialah mereka yang, walau ditimpa musibah, tidak didorong kepada kehinaan. Namun orang yang hatinya tercemar oleh harta, kadang-kadang memperoleh tempat berpijak di halaman hanya dengan kekayaan semata-mata.
