Tirtha: (Unnamed here) Kuṇḍa at Kṛttivāseśvara associated with Śūlotpāṭana
Type: kund
Scene: Śiva’s trident stands planted in the earth with a daitya pinned like a canopy; as the trident is uprooted, a wide, luminous kuṇḍa wells up, ringed by astonished sages and gaṇas.
Kāśī’s landscape is sanctified by Śiva’s acts; mythic events become enduring tīrthas for later pilgrims.
A great kuṇḍa (sacred pond) arising at the spot connected with Śiva’s trident and the demon’s downfall, in the Kṛttivāseśvara area of Kāśī.
Not here directly; the verse explains tīrtha-creation (the origin of the kuṇḍa).
