iti ratnāvalī śrutvā sasaṃdehāṃ ca tadgiram | vayasyāstadavāptau me yūyaṃ kuṃṭhi mumūrcha ha
Setelah mendengar kata-kata itu, Ratnāvalī yang masih bersangsi berkata kepada sahabat-sahabatnya: “Dalam usaha mendapatkan dia untukku, kamu semua menjadi teragak-agak,” lalu dia pun pengsan.
