स च दुंदुभिनिर्ह्राद दैत्येंद्रो बलदर्पितः । व्याघ्र रूपं समास्थाय तमादातुं मतिं दधे

sa ca duṃdubhinirhrāda daityeṃdro baladarpitaḥ | vyāghra rūpaṃ samāsthāya tamādātuṃ matiṃ dadhe

Dan Duṃdubhi-nirhrāda, raja para Daitya, mabuk oleh keangkuhan kekuatan, mengambil rupa harimau dan bertekad untuk menangkap bhakta itu.
