जैगीषव्य उवाच । नमः शिवाय शांताय सर्वज्ञाय शुभात्मने । जगदानंदकंदाय परमानंदहेतवे
jaigīṣavya uvāca | namaḥ śivāya śāṃtāya sarvajñāya śubhātmane | jagadānaṃdakaṃdāya paramānaṃdahetave
Jaigīṣavya berkata: Sembah sujud kepada Śiva—Yang Damai, Maha Mengetahui, berjiwa suci—akar kebahagiaan jagat dan sebab kebahagiaan tertinggi.
Jaigīṣavya
Tirtha: Kāśī (Avimukta)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Close devotional tableau: Jaigīṣavya with folded hands recites ‘namaḥ śivāya’ style salutations; Śiva’s face is tranquil, radiating peace; the atmosphere feels like stillness turning into bliss.
Śiva is presented as peace itself and as the ultimate source of joy; devotion aligns the seeker with that supreme bliss.
Within Kāśīkhaṇḍa, the praise implicitly glorifies Kāśī as the field where Śiva bestows paramānanda and liberation.
A devotional formula of salutation (namaḥ) and praise; it supports japa and stotra-style worship of “Namaḥ Śivāya.”
