Skanda (deduced)
Tirtha: Sūryendu-saṅgama (as named in the verse)
Type: sangam
Scene: A dawn confluence: two luminous discs (Sun and Moon) symbolically above sacred waters; a householder offers piṇḍa and water-libations while Brāhmaṇas are respectfully fed on leaf-plates; Kāśī’s ghāṭas and temples silhouette the background.
Charity through feeding the worthy, performed at an empowered sacred geography, multiplies the fruit of Pitṛ rites beyond measure.
The Sūrya–Indu-saṅgama tīrtha in Kāśī, associated with Pitṛ satisfaction.
Feeding Brāhmaṇas at the Sūrya–Indu confluence with the intention of Pitṛ-tṛpti is taught as a powerful śrāddha-supporting act.
