Type: kshetra
Listener: Śivaśarman
Scene: Dharmarāja enumerates Śivaśarman’s virtues; sages hold manuscripts; a respectful teacher-figure is symbolically present; the scene resembles a sacred classroom-court where learning and dharma are honored.
True dharma joins learning with humility—study, reverence to teachers, and scriptural ethics must become lived practice.
Kāśī is the implied sacred frame of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, where scriptural dharma supports the quest for liberation.
No single ritual is prescribed; the verse commends Vedic study (svādhyāya) and guru-satisfaction (guru-toṣa).
