नृणां पापकृतां तीर्थे पापस्य शमनं भवेत् । यथोक्तं फलदं तीर्थं भवेच्छ्रद्धात्मनां नृणाम्
nṛṇāṃ pāpakṛtāṃ tīrthe pāpasya śamanaṃ bhavet | yathoktaṃ phaladaṃ tīrthaṃ bhavecchraddhātmanāṃ nṛṇām
Bagi manusia yang telah melakukan dosa, tīrtha menjadi tempat meredakan dan menenangkan dosa. Dan tīrtha mengurniakan buah seperti yang dinyatakan, khususnya bagi mereka yang hatinya dipenuhi śraddhā (iman).
