उच्चरेदृग्यजुःसाम्नामृचमेकामपीह यः । गायत्रीमात्रमंत्रोपि स विज्ञेयो द्विजस्त्वया
uccaredṛgyajuḥsāmnāmṛcamekāmapīha yaḥ | gāyatrīmātramaṃtropi sa vijñeyo dvijastvayā
“Dan sesiapa yang melafazkan walau satu ṛc daripada Ṛg, Yajus atau Sāman—bahkan hanya mantra Gāyatrī semata-mata—hendaklah engkau fahami sebagai dvija.”
