ब्रूहि मातर्झटित्यद्य कुतो दूनासि पत्त्रिणि । मयि जीवति ते बाले कालेपि कृतसाध्वसे
brūhi mātarjhaṭityadya kuto dūnāsi pattriṇi | mayi jīvati te bāle kālepi kṛtasādhvase
Beritahulah kepadaku segera, wahai ibu, mengapakah engkau begitu berduka hari ini? Selagi aku masih hidup, Maut sekalipun tidak harus menjadi punca ketakutan bagimu.
