पुरा न स्थापितं लिंगं कस्यचित्केनचित्क्वचित् । किमाकृति भवेल्लिंगं नैतद्वेत्त्यपि कश्चन
purā na sthāpitaṃ liṃgaṃ kasyacitkenacitkvacit | kimākṛti bhavelliṃgaṃ naitadvettyapi kaścana
Pada zaman purba, Liṅga ini tidak pernah didirikan oleh sesiapa, di mana-mana. Bagaimanakah rupa hakikinya—tiada seorang pun mengetahuinya.
