रिपुंजय इति ख्यातो राजा परपुरंजयः । अथ ब्रह्मा तमासाद्य बहुगौरवपूर्वकम्
ripuṃjaya iti khyāto rājā parapuraṃjayaḥ | atha brahmā tamāsādya bahugauravapūrvakam
Ada seorang raja masyhur bernama Ripuṃjaya, penakluk kota-kota musuh. Lalu Brahmā mendekatinya dengan penuh kemuliaan, hormat dan takzim yang besar.
