शिरः प्रावृत्य कंठं वा जले मुक्तशिखोऽपि च । अक्षालितपदद्वंद्व आचांतोप्यशुचिर्मतः
śiraḥ prāvṛtya kaṃṭhaṃ vā jale muktaśikho'pi ca | akṣālitapadadvaṃdva ācāṃtopyaśucirmataḥ
Walaupun seseorang merendam kepala atau kerongkong ke dalam air, dan walaupun rambutnya terurai, dia tetap dianggap tidak suci jika kedua-dua kaki belum dibasuh—meskipun ācāmana telah dilakukan.
