अनुष्णाभिरफेनाभिरद्भिर्हृद्गाभिरत्वरः । ब्राह्मणो ब्राह्मतीर्थेन दृष्टिपूताभिराचमेत्

anuṣṇābhiraphenābhiradbhirhṛdgābhiratvaraḥ | brāhmaṇo brāhmatīrthena dṛṣṭipūtābhirācamet

Seorang brāhmaṇa hendaklah melakukan ācamana tanpa tergesa-gesa, dengan air yang sejuk (tidak panas), tanpa buih, dan setinggi dada—menggunakan brāhma-tīrtha (kedudukan tangan yang ditetapkan), dengan air yang disucikan oleh pandangan yang penuh adab.
