janmāṃtara sahasreṣu yatpāpaṃ samyagarjitam | gaṃgānāmasahasrasya japanāttatkṣayaṃ vrajet

Translation

Apa jua dosa yang benar-benar terkumpul sepanjang ribuan kelahiran—dengan menjapa seribu nama Gaṅgā, dosa itu pun lenyap dan musnah.
