शिवशर्मोवाच । कियद्दूरे वयं प्राप्ता गंतव्यं च कियत्पुनः । पृच्छाम्यन्यच्च वां भद्रौ ब्रूतं प्रीत्या तदप्यहो
śivaśarmovāca | kiyaddūre vayaṃ prāptā gaṃtavyaṃ ca kiyatpunaḥ | pṛcchāmyanyacca vāṃ bhadrau brūtaṃ prītyā tadapyaho
Śivaśarman berkata: Sejauh manakah kita telah sampai, dan berapa jauh lagi perjalanan yang tinggal? Wahai yang mulia, aku bertanya satu hal lagi—sampaikanlah itu juga dengan kasih dan kelembutan.
