Transliteration

saṃti dvīpā hyanekā vai pārāvārāṃtarasthitāḥ | jaṃbūdvīpasamo dvīpo na kvāpi jagatītale

Translation

Sesungguhnya terdapat banyak dwīpa (benua-pulau) yang berada dalam hamparan antara dua tebing jauh lautan kosmik; namun di permukaan dunia ini tiada satu pun dwīpa yang setara dengan Jambūdvīpa.
