Transliteration

vāso bhāgīrathītīre tīrthe vā maraṇaṃ raṇe | aparāṅmukhatā'rthibhyaḥ pratyarthibhyo viśeṣataḥ

Translation

Berdiam di tebing Bhāgīrathī, atau meninggal di tīrtha yang suci, atau gugur di medan perang; dan tidak pernah berpaling daripada mereka yang memohon pertolongan—terutama di hadapan lawan—itulah tanda keberanian dan dharma yang dipuji.
