Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 76

किंतु सर्वगुणोपेतं सर्वलक्षणलक्षितम् । संपूर्णनिर्मलकलं पातयेद्विधुवद्विधिः

kiṃtu sarvaguṇopetaṃ sarvalakṣaṇalakṣitam | saṃpūrṇanirmalakalaṃ pātayedvidhuvadvidhiḥ

Namun, walaupun seseorang itu lengkap dengan segala kebajikan dan ditandai semua alamat bertuah—sempurna serta suci pada setiap anggota—dia juga boleh dijatuhkan oleh takdir yang berlawanan, sebagaimana bulan diturunkan menurut perjalanan yang telah ditetapkan.
