Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 2

तृप्तिर्न जायतेऽस्माकं त्वद्वचोमृतपायिनाम् । अतः शुश्रूषमाणानां भूयो ब्रूहि कथाः शुभाः

tṛptirna jāyate'smākaṃ tvadvacomṛtapāyinām | ataḥ śuśrūṣamāṇānāṃ bhūyo brūhi kathāḥ śubhāḥ

Kami tidak juga merasa puas, kerana kami meminum amerta daripada kata-katamu. Maka, bagi kami yang rindu mendengar, tuturkan lagi kisah-kisah yang suci dan membawa berkat.
