caṃḍakopastato devīṃ khaḍgacarmadharo'bhyagāt | khaḍgena siṃhamājaghne devyā vāhaṃ mahāsuraḥ
Kemudian Candakopa, dengan memegang pedang dan perisai, mara ke arah Dewi. Dengan pedangnya, asura agung itu memukul singa, tunggangan Dewi.
