आदित्य उवाच । नमस्तेऽस्तु महादेव रामनाथ त्रियंबक । दक्षाध्वरविनाशाय नमस्ते पाहि मां शिव
āditya uvāca | namaste'stu mahādeva rāmanātha triyaṃbaka | dakṣādhvaravināśāya namaste pāhi māṃ śiva
Āditya berkata: Salam hormat kepada-Mu, wahai Mahādeva, wahai Rāmanātha, wahai Triyambaka bermata tiga. Wahai pemusnah yajña Dakṣa, sembahku; lindungilah aku, wahai Śiva.
Āditya (Sūrya)
Tirtha: Rāmanātha/Rāmeśvara (Setu-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Listener: (Contextual) Pilgrimage-seeking audience; within story, the deity addressed is Śiva
Scene: Āditya (Sun-god) offers homage at the Rāmeśvara shrine; behind the liṅga, a faint visionary tableau of Dakṣa’s sacrifice being shattered by Śiva’s wrath, while the present moment is a plea for protection.
Even cosmic powers seek Śiva’s shelter; surrender (śaraṇāgati) to Rāmanātha brings protection and spiritual steadiness.
Rāmeśvaram/Setu region, where the devas extol Śiva as Rāmanātha (Lord worshiped by Rāma).
A protective prayer is implied; the verse is apt for recitation during Śiva-pūjā and Rāmeśvara darśana.
