Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 62

तथा शरीर संत्यागात्पातकं मे लयं व्रजेत् । एवमुक्त्वा मुनीन्सर्वाञ्च्छंकरः पांड्यभूपतिः

tathā śarīra saṃtyāgātpātakaṃ me layaṃ vrajet | evamuktvā munīnsarvāñcchaṃkaraḥ pāṃḍyabhūpatiḥ

Dan dengan demikian, dengan meninggalkan tubuh ini, semoga dosaku terhapus. Setelah berkata demikian kepada semua orang bijak, Śaṅkara, pemerintah Pāṇḍya, meneruskan tindakannya.
