रक्षरक्ष जगन्नाथ पाह्य स्माञ्जानकीपते । स्तुत्वैवं मुनयः सर्वे तूष्णीं तस्थुर्द्विजोत्तमाः
rakṣarakṣa jagannātha pāhya smāñjānakīpate | stutvaivaṃ munayaḥ sarve tūṣṇīṃ tasthurdvijottamāḥ
“Lindungilah, lindungilah, wahai Tuhan jagat; selamatkanlah kami, wahai suami Jānakī!” Setelah memuji demikian, semua muni—yang utama di antara kaum dwija—berdiri dalam diam.
Narrator voice describing the sages’ action (still within the stotra episode); the plea itself is by the Munis
Tirtha: Setu (Setubandha)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A circle of ascetic sages with matted hair and deer-skins, hands raised in supplication toward Rāma; after the plea, they stand motionless in profound silence, the air charged with sacred expectancy.
Devotional surrender expresses itself as a direct plea for protection; reverent silence follows heartfelt praise.
The setting is Setukhaṇḍa’s Setu/Rāmeśvaram pilgrimage milieu, where Rāma’s grace and protection are central themes.
No formal rite is prescribed; it records a protective invocation within a hymn.
