Type: kshetra
Listener: Pilgrims/ṛṣis seeking Setu-māhātmya (not explicit)
Scene: A devotee before the liṅga, mind steady, with symbolic Kāma (flower-bow) fading into the background as the names of Śiva are chanted; Śiva as Nīlakaṇṭha radiates cool blue calm.
Devotional repetition of Śiva’s names disciplines the mind and weakens binding desire (kāma).
Rāmeśvaram (Setu-kṣetra), explicitly through the name Rāmeśvara.
Constant recitation of Śiva’s epithets (nāma-japa/stotra) as a remedy for kāma.
