Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 36

स्मरणात्तस्य वेदानां पारायणफलं लभेत् । दिनोपवासमात्रेण तस्य तीर्थस्य तीरतः

smaraṇāttasya vedānāṃ pārāyaṇaphalaṃ labhet | dinopavāsamātreṇa tasya tīrthasya tīrataḥ

Dengan mengingati tīrtha itu, diperoleh pahala seperti membaca Veda secara parāyaṇa. Dan dengan berpuasa hanya sehari di tebing tīrtha suci itu pun, pahala yang sama turut terlimpah.
