Dengan saṅkalpa yang suci serta berpegang pada disiplin dan pengendalian diri, Kaśyapa mandi di tīrtha itu. Dengan sekadar mandi di dua tīrtha yang mulia, beliau pun terbebas daripada dosa.
Narrator (Purāṇic narrator in Setukhaṇḍa context)
Tirtha: Tīrthadvaya (Twin Tīrthas)
Type: sangam
Listener: munīśvarāḥ (sages addressed in narration)
Scene: Sage Kaśyapa, austere yet serene, performs ritual bathing at a luminous twin-tīrtha; water glints like molten silver; attendants of nature—birds, lotuses—frame the sanctity; the mood is vow-bound purification.
A disciplined bath undertaken with saṅkalpa at a famed tīrtha is portrayed as powerfully purifying, removing accumulated sin.
The ‘twin tīrthas’ (tīrthadvaya) within Setukhaṇḍa’s Setu-kṣetra (associated in tradition with Setu/Rāmeśvaram sacred geography).
Snāna (ritual bathing) performed with saṅkalpa and niyama (restraint/observance).
