उद्दिश्य स्वपितॄन्ये तु न कुर्वन्त्यतिलोभतः । महालोभयुतास्तेऽद्धा वेतालाः स्युर्न संशयः

Transliteration

uddiśya svapitṝnye tu na kurvantyatilobhataḥ | mahālobhayutāste'ddhā vetālāḥ syurna saṃśayaḥ

Translation

Mereka yang walaupun berniat untuk pitṛ sendiri tetapi kerana terlalu tamak tidak melakukan upacara—orang yang dipenuhi maha-loba itu pasti menjadi vetāla; tiada keraguan.
