गालव उवाच । विष्णुचक्रं नमस्तेस्तु विश्वरक्षणदीक्षित । नारायणकरांभोजभूषणाय नमोऽस्तु ते
gālava uvāca | viṣṇucakraṃ namastestu viśvarakṣaṇadīkṣita | nārāyaṇakarāṃbhojabhūṣaṇāya namo'stu te
Gālava berkata: “Sembah sujud kepadamu, wahai Cakra Viṣṇu, yang ditahbiskan untuk melindungi alam semesta! Wahai perhiasan pada tangan-teratai Nārāyaṇa, sembah sujud kepadamu.”
Gālava
Tirtha: Dharma-tīrtha (contextual)
Type: ghat
Listener: Sudarśana (Viṣṇu-cakra)
Scene: Gālava addresses the hovering Sudarśana with folded hands; the discus is shown as a radiant, sentient presence near Nārāyaṇa’s lotus-hand (iconic association), suggesting cosmic guardianship.
Surrender to the Lord’s protective power (Sudarśana) is portrayed as a dharmic refuge for the world and the devotee.
The praise occurs in the Setu Māhātmya setting, connected with Dharma-tīrtha in the Setu region.
Stotra/namaskāra (hymn and salutation) to Sudarśana is exemplified as a devotional practice.
