Scene: Purūravas speaks with certainty: the former fire has now taken the form of aśvattha within śamī; he reaches to take the wood, envisioning the return of fire’s form and his return to the city.
When outer instruments fail, dharma reveals its inner means; sacred knowledge turns nature itself into a support for right worship.
Setukṣetra’s agni-sthāna is implied as a charged locale where the ‘form of Agni’ is recoverable through sacred trees.
Taking suitable araṇi-wood (linked with śamī/aśvattha) for producing the sacred fire.
