Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 45

पित्रोरभरणं कृत्वा ह्यदत्त्वा गुरुदक्षिणाम् । कृतघ्नतां च संप्राप्य मरणांता हि निष्कृतिः

pitrorabharaṇaṃ kṛtvā hyadattvā gurudakṣiṇām | kṛtaghnatāṃ ca saṃprāpya maraṇāṃtā hi niṣkṛtiḥ

Dengan membebankan ibu bapa untuk menanggung diriku, dan tidak menunaikan guru-dakṣiṇā, lalu terjerumus ke dalam kekufuran budi—penebusannya, sesungguhnya, hanya berakhir pada kematian.
